A wound is a breach in the anatomical integrity of the skin or internal tissues throughout their thickness, and sometimes also of internal organs, caused by mechanical, thermal, or chemical effects.

Used to secure dressings and delicate elements of medical devices on the skin of patients with sensitive skin types.

1. Microporous base made from non-woven material allows the skin to “breathe” without causing skin maceration.
